Picture
This age is about building a foundation and getting them started on the right track.

This is just the beginning...

If you're looking for a class just to let your puppy play. I'm not the right fit for you.
If your looking to learn how to raise the dog of your dreams who can be social but can also behave in the presence of distractions including other dogs and people - Let's get started!
Owner Education
Stop Searching Google & Put down the book
Get real professional advice on how to help your puppy be the best version of themselves
The problem with seeking advice from other sources is they don't know your dog.
While there are general ways to go about training, every dog is different.
And may need a slightly different approach due to who they are as individuals or breed tendencies.
Each owners lifestyle also plays a huge roll in the training process.
Someone who is home all day v.s. someone who works an 8hr day will have different things they need to focus on.
Get customized advice for you and your dog and the lifestyle you live together.

Obedience Foundation
Introduction to Obedience commands: at this age we are using food to lure and creating good habits in your handling skills and getting your puppy to work for food.
We don't expect commands to be reliable at this age.
That will come later in future training programs.

During Puppy Preschool your puppy will learn the foundation to loose leash walking, coming when called and going to a dog bed.

Confidence Building
I will coach you through how to use tools and objects you already have to expose your puppy too.

Socialization
Socialization is key at this age.
Socialization does not mean non stop play or letting your puppy meet every dog and person you pass.
Proper socialization is about how to raise a friendly dog who can be neutral and well behaved in the presence of other people and dogs at home and in public.
It is crucial that your pup doesn't grow up obsessed with other dogs and people.

YOU should be more exciting and fun than the outside world.
Did you know that dogs who are "Over socialized" can actually end up being reactive and barking and lunging towards people and dogs out of over excitement and frustration from being restrained.
I want to help educate YOU and help you prevent behavior problems.
There is a time and a place for dogs to be allowed to interact,
if not done carefully can cause you behavior problems down the road.

How to Chill

Something many adult dogs struggle with, that winds up leading to behavior problems is their inability to just relax and be O.K doing nothing.
You'll learn how to raise a puppy that can just CHILL, wether that be at home, at a coffee shop or near other dogs.

Hands on Puppy Prep School - Puppies 1st Year

This is a unique program that is setup to help support you in raising your puppy.

Your puppy will learn to be an incredible family member and well behaved member of the community.

This program is designed to support you through your puppies early developmental stages.

It's easy to feel overwhelmed as a puppy owner, and yet still want to be a part of raising the puppy yourself.

We believe you can have it ALL.

Start with a Private Lesson in your home.
At this lesson we go over Crate Training, Housebreaking (Potty Training Schedules), Mouthing, teach appropriate Play and how to teach your puppy to settle.

Then from here you will schedule 4 Separate Weeks of Camp for your puppy to spend time living, learning and getting appropriate socialization with the trainer. At the end of each week you will have a hands on lesson learning and practicing what your puppy learned and how to continue their progress.

These 4 weeks are NOT Consecutive.

Your puppy will spend at least 1 week at home practicing with you between their weeks at camp.
You don't get to miss the fun and joys of raising your puppy.

The time between camp weeks will be spread out on a schedule that makes sense for your life and your puppies development.
