3 Training Program Options
Start with a Phone Consult
I will get in touch and we will chat about all of your goals for your dog.
Most of our clients enjoy the outdoors and want to be able to include their dogs on their outdoor adventures on the trails as well as out and about on the town. Through the training process we will evaluate what activities are best for you and your dog. Not all dogs enjoy public outings and just because you "Can" doesn't always mean you should and its important to consider our dogs best interest in addition to all of our hopes and dreams as the owner. I want to talk to you in depth about your dog and the life you want together. I want to make sure that I really understand the struggles you are currently facing right now and the life you picture to make sure that I can appropriately place you into a program that will be of the best fit for you to be able to achieve your goals. |
Training Packages
Our Programs are about helping you and your dog live the life you want together.
We discourage our clients from single private lessons as we don't want to leave you stranded to figure the rest out on your own in between lessons. I coach owners to be the leader their dog wants to look to for guidance and direction, learn to read your dogs body language and how to help them navigate our human world. I teach you how to understand and better communicate with your dog and really evaluate and work on the whole dog from nutrition, exercise, training, behavior to building a better relationship with your dog.

Off Leash Reliability & E-collar
I only teach Off leash programs with the use of an E-collar.
It's Important to let you know that there isn't anywhere locally where dogs are legally allowed OFF LEASH other than the Dog Park (PLEASE Don't take your dog to a dog park - we'd be happy to talk you through why not)
However, Remote Collars can be a great tool when you use the right brand and they are used correctly. Once you train the dog with the collar it is just another form of communication with your dog. It is a lot less force full and actually is kinder on your dog than physical corrections from any other form of collar.
It is a gentle reminder of what they are supposed to be doing. Each of my clients is required to feel it before we do any ecollar training and most people are pleasantly surprised that they don't feel it until a 15 or so and their dog is responding calmly at a 6 or 8. It allows us the confidence and safety that no matter what you will have control of what your dog is doing when the leash is off. This can be utilized in the home at a distance for reinforcing front door manners, or for the camping trips you go on and wish to take your dog off leash at dog friendly off leash locations.
You can train all day every day and there is still a % chance that your dog can make their own decisions. There are things that we can't train or prepare for. I want you to have control of that small %. I am a safe driver but I still wear my seat belt. That's how I think of my e-collar. It's there if I need it but the majority of the time it isn't needed once the dog is trained. E-collars are for safety and to have control at a distance while allowing the dog to have freedom.
If you don't wish to use an e-collar, it's ok!
We only want you to use the tools your comfortable with, with your dog.
But! Without it we wont work on off leash training as I believe its irresponsible to do so.
On the off chance that your dog chooses not to listen and there is no leash it could endanger your dogs life - by running up to an unfriendly leashed dog, or running into a street chasing a squirrel or other potential distraction.
